1997 attempt by BIG PHARMA to change our over 60,000 Healthy Medicinal dietary
food supplements into “NEW DRUG”. “OUR HEALTHY FOODS
ARE NOT DRUGS” campaign is now launching a major initiative to stop Bills C-51
and C-52 coming back now as Bill C-6 and to force the cancellation of the
January 1st 2004 Natural
Health Products Drug category. Did you know that
Barley Greens, Carrot Juice, Vitamin C, etc. are all drugs in Did you know for

it is proposed that ND's be allowed to prescribe antibiotics, painkillers and
antidepressants, albeit over the opposition of the MD's licensing board, the Why
do people go to ND's in the first place? To avoid antibiotics, synthetic
painkillers and synthetic antidepressants because these drugs either don't work
too well or else they come with very toxic and often deadly side effects. An
internet search will supply ample evidence that antibiotics (Ciprofloxacin)
kill, pain killers (Vioxx) kill, and antidepressants (Prozac) kill. A
very few synthetic drugs have some limited value. However, they should be used
very carefully, for as short a time possible and be secondary to nutrition and
nutrient support. The
most effective of all pain killers - the natural occurring opiates, cannabis
and cocaine - were taken away from the natural health practitioners very early
in the 20th century; coincidental to the rise of the pharmaceutical industry
and the promotion of patented and very profitable synthetic drugs by the
industry's hand maiden, the medical doctor. Up
to now, some MD's have been encroaching on the ND's turf by prescribing herbs,
vitamins, minerals, diets, fasts, and in effect, practicing what is termed
natural medicine. The natural health products
industry and health journals have been promoting the concept of "integrative medicine" without explaining what
it really means. Why
would any Naturopathic Physician worthy of the title want to prescribe toxic
synthetic drugs that are now recognized as the number one killer in Integrative medicine is nothing but a trap
for the unwary consumer who thinks they are going to get away from the failed
and mostly toxic allopathic synthetic drug based therapies. "It should be obvious that action without wisdom, without clear
awareness of the world as it really is, can never improve anything."
